I found that if you add reverb in the kick making process, and sample it down to audio and then process it with a gate compress on it to knock out any unwanted tailreverb your kick gets a nice warm air to it without dirty-ing the kick, its a useful thing to try if you find your kicks are not all that prominent. Ive layered kick with clap/ride with reverb, so that kinda helps, but its still not there, so any other tips? And compared to pro´s tracks, it sounds very different.
